Hearing Postponed Again
This is beginning to look like a pattern.
Late this afternoon, the Virginia Attorney General's office filed a motion with the Virginia State Corporation Commission on behalf of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources (DHR) requesting a postponement of the October 13 hearing to November 10. This information was provided to The Recorder at 4:55. Brightside Acres received it at 5:30.
For what purpose did the citizens of Virginia and West Virginia put forth a herculean joint effort to provide the evidence requested by DHR by end of business today?
Meanwhile, while Highland New Wind's compliance with the SCC's Final Order remains in question, and evidence regarding the impact of the wind utility on a National Register site remains undisclosed and unexamined, Highland New Wind Development continues construction.
