Writings of its use in treating liver problems, high blood pressure and conjunctivitis first appear during the Han Dynasty in China (204 B.C.). As an antiviral, it is presently used to treat herpes, HIV, AIDS, cancer, diabetes and leukemia, as well as lingering wounds. External use of heal all may speed healing and reduce scarring from skin afflictions of all kinds. This tea has a highly-drinkable, grassy, "green tea" flavor.
