Berberis vulgaris

Foraged from the meadows at Brightside, Barberry root tea contains berberine, a compound reknowned around the world for its infection-fighting properties. While barberry stimulates the immune system, it also kills micro-organisms that cause wound infections, diarrhea, dysentery, cholera, and urinary tract infections. Barberry's traditional use in treating eye problems is well-known in Germany, where a berberine preparation, Ophthiole, is used to treat sensitive eyes, inflamed lids, and pink eye (conjunctivitis).

Packaged in a classic eight-ounce recycled aluminum tin.
