Allegheny Mountain barberries (Berberis vulgaris) combine with heirloom Wolf River apples to create a delicate, sweet-tart puree. Feather-light applesauce with a distinctly flavorful twist! This unique topping is delicious on crusty breads and bagels and makes an unusually flavorful crust on baked fish and poultry.

The berberine alkaloids present in Barberries are proven to fight bacterial infection.
