Whipping The Winter Blues
Brightside will emerge from hibernation Thursday, February 17 at the Winter Blues Farmers Market in Morgantown, WV.
Held in conjunction with the three-day WV Small Farms Conference sponsored by the West Virginia University Extension Service, the Market will feature products from more than 30 farms located around the state.
Brightside will offer our full line of 17 herbal teas plus two new tea blends: Sweet Dreams, containing chamomile, lemon balm and lemongrass, and Sparkle My Spirit, containing nettles, St. John's Wort, lemon verbena, rosemary, lavender, and red clover.
We'll also offer sets of individual serving-sized tea bags, including Bold Barberry, Cozy Chamomile, Lovely Lemon Balm, Necessary Nettle, Marvelous Mullein, Mellow Mint and Soothing Sassafras as well as our popular sets of three different teapot-sized bags based around a particular theme. These now include Evening Enchantment, New Mother Medley, Teatime Treasures, Winter Remedy and Wise Woman.
We've added Soothe, an herbal facial scrub for Dry Skin to our budding line of Wildgrown Beauty products, which also includes Beauty Sleep, a lavender and chamomile facial and pillow mist, and Cheer, an herbal facial steam especially for winter skin.
A short selection of fruit preparations, featuring Apple and Honey Apple Jellies, Barberry Apple Puree, Blackberry and Mint-Scented Blackberry Spreads, Cherry-Scented Peach Preserves and Peach Spread will round out our display.
The Winter Blues Farmers Market at the Lakeview Resort and Conference Center, Cheat Lake, Morgantown will be open to the public from 4 to 7pm. Entertainment by Soup Camel Music.
